Breakdown:
A mini-exhibition of Shieko “Shika” Reto's drawings/paintings from her travels from Kuala Lumpur to Turku to Helsinki.

17:00 - 21:00 Open mic/stage for any artist or performance-artist.
Prepare your approx 15 minutes!

Have your portrait painted by Shika’s in opposite/whatever gender

Shieko Reto is a visual artist and activist from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, whose work addresses the concerns of trans- and cross-cultural phenomena. Her work has been part of international exhibitions, including the Singapore Biennial and the Artists at Risk PAVILION at Matadero-Madrid.

Shieko is currently an AR-Safe Haven Helsinki artist. The programme is curated by Perpetuum Mobilε (PM), and co-organized by PM and HIAP - Helsinki International Artist Programme. It is funded by the Helsinki City Cultural Office. The event is co-funded by the Finnish Culture Found. Suomen Kulttuurirahasto
